But no one prepared me for the film of bird droppings covering the window, the horrid smells waifting out of the kitchen into my room, and the dozens and dozens of kids running up and down the hall, screaming and slamming doors, far into the night. Oh, of course, first thing in the morning too. I requested a higher floor but they couldn't help. After waiting in line for the one pay phone in the hotel, I booked a bed and breakfast and left. For my money, it will be a bed and breakfast next time! So many rooms...it must be tour group hotel. That means lots and lots of kids and noise.
